Snow

is not my favorite item

in the universe.

 

From time to time

the grand artist

paints

a magnificent snowscape,

 

but even so

mostly I see the ice

– feel the chill-

which ruins

the novelty for me.

 

I have always dreamed

of being a snowbird

-moving west or south

for the winter-

but such has not been

in the divine plan for me.

At least yet.

 

Snowy

Christmas card vistas

are great.

 

I usually prefer them

in snow globes,

holiday cards

& on TV

or in the movies.
