New Song in a Dream: New Revival Dream

New Song in a Dream: New Revival Dream.

Dreamed on the morning of the first of December in the year 2025.

Backstory for the New Revival Dream song. Dreamed on December 1st, 2025.  Look for the song link after the backstory.

In a dream last night I heard a song.  In the dream Jesus was standing beside me. He had talked to me about both the investigative reporter and the young preacher. Jesus had also told me that because many who are presently promised to Him were heavily influenced by a contemporary church that was filled with modern day Pharisees and perpetual baby Christians, that he was “going to the highways and byways” to bring in servants for his last days revival.

From past experience, when I receive a prophetic dream, it is filled with both symbolic and literal elements.  Another way to say this, is that my prophetic dreams are like a play with stage props. All of this provides context which helps me understand the dream.  I have found that when I have such a dream, it is best to step back and look at the big picture. Some elements may end up being literal and come to pass.  Thus, my best guess is that this dream is saying that there will be a revival coming in the future, but that Jesus will be using many unconventional ministers to bring new children into the kingdom.

I was not the investigative reporter in the dream or the preacher. Just as the dream began, Jesus, gave me mini-visions about the histories of both the journalist and the preacher. That info may be prophetic or just filler material that provided context for the dream. I don’t know.

The reporter was young and thin, with a pony tail. He was under six feet tall and his hair was raven black. Even though, except for the hair and no beard, he may have been partly Native American, he looked to be about thirty years of age. Once when the reporter turned I could see that he was wearing a silver and turquoise necklace with cross and feather. The voice of the song, I believe, was that of the young Native American reporter. If you listen closely, the song in some lines has a First Nations twang to it.

The preacher, although tall and thin, except for his couch potato belly, had a German last name which I can’t remember, except that it was long. I don’t remember his first name either, but it was an uncommon name that fitted his Germanic heritage. We will call him Emmerich. He had been an honor student in high school, and had been doing exceptionally well at a college near Northwestern Wisconsin. His major had been engineering. Emmerich had been known for avoiding sunlight and was very focused on studying. His family had not been a Christian family, but he had been converted by a campus Christian group. He had read the Bible through and read several books on Christian history, especially the early church fathers, within a few months of his conversion. Since he had an almost photographic memory, he became very scripturally literate quickly. Shortly after that, he began itinerant street preaching. I believe that his beach preaching in San Francisco was the first time he had preached somewhere other than Northwestern Wisconsin. Emmerich had a closet of three piece suits and lived frugally although having a substantial inheritance, but when preaching he wore Christian message t-shirts and blue jeans.

Also, as a part of the back story, that was floating around in my mind during the dream, is that many churches had not accepted the movement because Jesus had gone mostly to the highways and byways to find ministers for new movement. Jesus wanted preachers who were not part of the new style of Pharisees and Sadducees, that is prominent in the modern westernized Christian movement. Yes, Jesus had some traditional Christians in his new revival and Caucasians, but, for the most part he used Latinos and Native Americans, or Christians of any race, including whites, who taught that followers of Jesus needed to focus on learning scripture and allowing the Holy Spirit to personally mentor them, more than using Christian colleges or professional traditional churches to teach them. Also, many of them were part of the modern home fellowship movement. The crowd was listening intently to the young evangelist. He wasn’t a great preacher, but his anointing was so strong, that even hecklers had fallen down on the sandy beach and many listeners were crying.

Lyrics:

Last night I had a strange dream.
I was on a mission from Jesus Christ.
He had asked me to chronicle his newest revival
that was about to happen … some time …after 2025.

I was walking on the streets of Frisco
on a warm, windy Friday night.
There was a young and fiery preacher
evangelizing the gathering crowd.

Tall and thin, he wasn’t wearing a fancy 3 piece suit.
Just jeans and cross t-shirt.
His soft, pale skin was a peelin’, sunburned over pasty white.
He was standing in an old gazebo next to a white-beach sea,
Big Black King James Bible thumping tropical salty air.

Signs in the sky were scary.
Civil War was scattered ‘round about in pockets
…all over …the U.S. of A.
Plagues and natural disasters
Thrumming drumbeats of war.
All these wild events spread a palpable fog of fear.

In the midst of horrific disasters
God’s Spirit moved mightily,
As I watched in awe and wonder
Tearful…men, women and children,
humans of every race,
were praising … the power… of Jee-ee-sus the Christ.

Many First Nations people and many Latinos, too,
were spreading hope and miracles, spreading hope and miracles.
Together they lead many converts
into living for Je-ee-sus
in a new and powerful waaay.
Living, yes living for Jesus, in a new and powerful waaay!

Living, yes living for Jesus
in a glorious, holy strength,
practicing kindness and wisdom,
each and every live-long da..ay.

Living, yes living for Jesus, in a genuine spiritual way.
Living, yes living for Jesus, in a genuine spiritual waaay.
Living, yes living for Jesus, in a genuine spiritual way hay hay!
