Knights In Jesus Service
Hello readers,
I really should have done a separate blog for the Relaunch Ministries Seminar https://liferelaunch.org/contact and for the dream “BECKONING HANDS OF GOOD AND EVIL.” It has been almost a month since the seminar. Maybe, as the dream seems to connect to elements in the letter to Michael and Ken, the timing is good. Incidentally, talking of elements, many of the elements from a dream in one of my earlier blogs, about the Kitchen and Campfire Dream, seemed to connect directly to the Relaunch Seminar in Eleva.
Back to the next morning after returning from the seminar. Immediately when I awoke the presence of the Lord was around me. The gist of what I felt was that Jesus was behind that seminar but that he also had warnings about areas in the program that needed tweaks.
After seeking the Lord for about an hour I wrote the following letter and sent it as an email to Ken to pass onto Michael. Here is the letter with an important end note attached. I forgot a verse that went along with the Acts 6 reference. I am not sure if any of the other facilitators or Mel Goebel, the founder of Life Relaunch, read the letter. I know Ken did and that he passed it on to Michael. Ken didn’t say one way or the other what he thought about the letter but he did offer that Michael needed to read it.
The letter:
Brothers Michael Potts and Ken Welker,
7.9.2023
What a blessing meeting you and the other Life Relaunch attendees and facilitators. Wonderful and impacting event! As soon as my phone began working, after leaving the facility, Mark’s wife, (Ken knows Mark) called and let me talk with him. He had a heart attack and had been airlifted via chopper to Marshfield Hospital. I prayed with him over the phone and will go visit him later today. I would like to bring Brother Mark one day to such a meeting. (Mark said that after he recuperates, he is very interested.)
Anyway, as soon as I awoke the Lord was there in presence and I heard a Bible verse. Along with that I saw several images at once and impressions for all of the images. This is what podcaster Steven Quayle calls a “burst transmission.” This is not something that happens every day. Probably several times per year. Just getting a Bible reference or an impression that someone needs prayer, that is much more common.
Jesus was definitely happy that I was excited about having been at your conference.
Just as a preface, I will share the verse and what my impressions were. That said, the way Jesus usually works through me, is in the following manner. It is my duty is only to share the information. It is up to Jesus as to how many confirmations to bring and when. And then it becomes a freewill issue. I know Ken and even though I have just met Michael, it is obvious that you both are seasoned and mature brothers, well equipped by Jesus, to do the work of the Kingdom, ready both spiritually and to teach with intelligence and authority, sensitive not only to the words of Scripture but to the Holy Spirit.
I don’t know the leadership at Life Relaunch. I am certain they are wonderful brothers and sisters as well, but I also know that any organization starts fresh and full of anointing, but at sometime becomes a well-known organization or denomination, well meaning, and useful to the Kingdom, but often doing so from memory and intellect. While having walked daily with Jesus intimately, such organizations may find that Jesus still loves them, and visits them, all the while having left the building.
So, let us say Jesus does confirm to both of you what I am sharing, neither may be in the place that you are able to do much about it. Life Relaunch may simply say that it is beyond the scope of their program or say, “Wow! That makes sense. We need to file this immediately into the back-room cabinet and lock it up for safe keeping, never to be revisited.”
Here is the verse that I heard in its entirety, “New King James Version
Do not lay hands on anyone hastily, nor share in other people’s sins; keep yourself pure.” First Timothy 5:22. (No Bible Image, just audio.)
While I did not hear the verse, an impression reference was made to go along with that from Acts Chapter Six: The Choosing of the Seven
1In those days when the disciples were increasing in number, the Grecian Jews among them began to grumble against the Hebraic Jews because their widows were being overlooked in the daily distribution of food. 2So the Twelve summoned all the disciples and said, “It is unacceptable for us to neglect the word of God in order to wait on tables. 3Therefore, brothers, select from among you seven men confirmed to be full of the Spirit and wisdom. We will appoint this responsibility to them…
(There was also a reference to 1 Sam 30:24 that was next to this verse. 1 Sam 30:24 Who would listen to you in this matter? For as his share is who goes down into the battle, so shall his share be who stays by the baggage. They shall share alike.” I actually saw a bible open up and pages flipped and stopped for both the Acts and 1 Sam reference. Note added at time of blogging. Incidentally, it was a black leather covered bible with red lettering for the Words of Jesus, KJV. It looked like the first Bible given to me as a child. It had the same small gray wear and tear blemish on the cover.)
These were the images I saw: Scenes from the Chosen, Scenes from Knights Tale, and a scene that wasn’t in the movie (KT), where they were camped by a small woods, and then dirty, skinny orphan children ran into the camp and asked for food. They were fed. Most of the orphans quickly scrambled back into the woods after hastily gobbling down their meals and hid. One or two stayed with the group that was serving the knight and joined the fellowship of companions.
I saw an image of a Knight and of a Paige and Squire.
After listening to scripture and praying about this – probably about 30 minutes or so later – I saw the scene, quickly and boldly, presented in the last movie section of the Knight Lord bickering with other Knights and while making a speech to a multitude of peasants. The Knight Lord told the peasants that if they could hold a weapon, they would instantly be knighted.
The impression I received is that it was a great scene for the presentation, but in day to day, nitty-gritty Kingdom reality, it wasn’t entirely accurate.
After praying and meditating on this these are my feelings. As a whole, the seminar is well thought out and impactive. The movies and songs and the presenters all worked together in a wonderful harmony. Having both personal and group teaching and deliverance was fantastic. The facilitators working as a team mirrors the New Testament plurality of elders’ concept quite adeptly. And the idea that you, as facilitators, didn’t do just a flare prayer before the meetings, but prayed and had quick team huddles throughout the day was also commendable and very good.
The triple-witnessed certificate and ring ceremony was really the icing on the cake! Very impactive!
That said, I think what the Lord is saying here is that there is a danger. You mentioned a man named Tim who went through a seminar, received his certificate and ring and then vanished from the face of the earth. While the seminar and ceremony combined are unbelievably impactive and profound, if the program stays as is it, I believe there will be more like Tim who will be lost along the way.
I see two scenarios. One – new converts. While it is great that they get saved and go through this training, they may not be ready to be thrust into “knighthood.” Two – theologians. While they have excellent academic credentials, because they are accustomed to following their intellect and are not practiced in being sensitive to the Holy Spirit, while being saved and a brother or sister in Christ, they may actually impede what the Spirit is doing with those who are led of the Spirit. I think we all saw a good case in point yesterday. Great brother. Academically gifted but did understand the merits of correction for errant doctrine.
What Ken continues to say about us being just servants is very important, in general, and to your ministries in this specific situation. In reality, we are all just servants. Titles only explain functions and duties. What happened yesterday was wonderful for all of us – attendees and facilitators. The way I see it, all of the attendees yesterday were knighted. Michael and Ken and Keith and Brent were already knighted. I don’t think there is any way of getting around that. While we all have strengths and weaknesses, and keeping Ken’s axiom in mind, that we are just servants, my guess is that for the most part, and Jesus knows if any of us weren’t really ready, the seminar was a great success. But there was a change. For example, Lance is no longer Lance. While just a servant, he has become Sir Lancelot. Andy is very much a Knight, but he has taken the road of Stephen and his six brothers in Christ, and while still very much a Knight in the Kingdom, he is waiting on tables and doing a fantastic job. Brent seems to me not to be a Knight, but a Knight-in-training, and growing fast. Every time he gave another presentation he did better and better. To make Brent a Squire, as he once was years ago, would be a demotion, an insult, and a waste of a good kingdom warrior.
The crux of what I am trying to say is that while the program is good, I think it is missing an essential element. It seems like the program is supposed to be a three-legged stool and because Jesus has anointed it, and the facilitators there this weekend are so wonderfully gifted, that it went quite well. I have heard there is a women’s’ program. Great!
Going back to the images I received this morning of The Chosen group walking between cities and the Knight’s Tale movie, I think that is what is missing. When the Chosen group walked between cities, not much happened as far as group preaching and miracles, but there was activity. Jesus was teaching and mentoring. Brothers and sisters were praying and interacting. Mundane tasks from picking berries to gathering firewood were being done. Clothes were being mended. Etc. In Knight’s Tale, the Knight had a group of companions. The extra scene, which wasn’t in the movie, had orphans from the woods begging for food. One or two, promised food, protection, and companionship stayed with the knight’s group as they walked from city to city between jousting tournaments.
So, what does all of that mean? I think it goes with the images of Paiges and Squires. These are two classes of Knight’s helpers in history. In addition to learning Herald History (spiritually akin to daily scripture reading an elder mentoring) Paiges were to help the knights with things like making sure the knight had clean and mended clothing or hot water for washing or shaving. The Squires (who also were responsible for Herald History) tended to armor polishing, sword sharpening, helped with the horses and learned combat, both to protect the group and to keep the knight battle ready between tourneys.
Other camp companions, like the wild orphans, served the group by doing things like helping set up and take down camps and odd important tasks like gathering firewood and wild food. They all helped each other and in return the group was strengthened and protected. Like Stephen and his six friends set tables, so that the apostles had more time to do the work of the Kingdom, the Knight’s companions served a similar function.
I think Michael and Ken, what this all boils down to is that there needs to be another program in place where many of the same elements of the program from this weekend are taught. However, if you have someone new in Christ, or someone who has a great deal of traditional Bible knowledge but are just babes in hearing from the Spirit, they might not be ready to thrust into “Knighthood.” In the future, especially if you have Knights with the same skill sets as Ken who, in the natural realm is gifted in persuasive speech and sales, you could potentially bring in many more people like Tim, who need teaching and deliverance, but are not ready to be Knights, and instead become fallen Paladins. Although, any skill set has the potential to bring in a Tim, or even an evangelist whose ministry has become an idol, that could bring in more Tim fellows and rather than Knight them, make them into fallen Paladins.
A group of Paiges and Squires and “camp companions” could really benefit from the wisdom and prayers of “Knights.” In the meantime, by rubbing shoulders with them, and by the wisdom of the Holy Spirit, the Knights could have an opportunity to see, through observance and the enlightenment of the Holy Spirit, which ones need help and which ones Jesus is marking as ready for grooming in leadership, as in the five-fold ministry or support staff for the Kingdom. In other words, there could be people who are not ready to be Knights NOW, but they are ready to become Paiges, Squires and Followers. In trade for helping do the work of the Kingdom in smaller bites, in time could be in position to be mentored and seasoned and mature until they are really ready to become Knights for the Kingdom. In other words, it seems like there are people who really need this teaching and deliverance, but not everyone is ready to be oathed or contracted into full, battle-ready service.
Thank you, Michael and Ken for allowing me to share. Even if I have explained this in an understandable way, the program you have in place seems very polished, successful, and perhaps award winning, and for that reason is resistant to change if it is necessary. While I may not have all of the necessary spiritual understanding, I do believe this is important enough so that you both should seek Jesus and see if he provides further insight.
Be blessed, Wayne
I forgot this part: Hi Ken,
1 Sam 30:24 Who would listen to you in this matter? For as his share is who goes down into the battle, so shall his share be who stays by the baggage. They shall share alike.”
This went with the verse about Stephen and six friends waiting tables so the apostles could do the work of the Kingdom. Didn’t hear it in my head or out loud. Just the story reference with the images.
I think it means that you need a team, composed of short term and long-term participants of various maturity levels, like one or more fellowship groups, that helps you and intercedes in prayer for the team leaders, and that spiritually your rewards are shared equally.
Another important event was meeting the facilitator Keith. I don’t know his last name. Small World! My first mentor in the Lord (actually he was paired with Ernie Moore who invited me to meet Jerry Johnson) Jerry, taught me how to go from an institutional knowledge of Jesus in a traditional church setting and learn to walk, no matter what the setting, traditional or home-based, and lean to walk in a personal relationship with Jesus and develop spiritual sensitivity and mature as a servant of the Kingdom. Jerry was also Keith’s mentor about the same time I was being mentored in Chetek, Wisconsin; Jerry was also tutoring Keith. I had heard Keith’s name mentioned but never met him. Keith arrived early, about ten minutes after I had arrived at the seminar facility of Helge. Keith chatted with me for about an hour or so and we had much in common. We had many of the same supernatural experiences and giftings.
Helge has a home fellowship elsewhere on the property and rents out his Pleasant Valley Christian Center facility to many other Christian groups including Mel Goebel’s Life ReLaunch ministries. Even though Mel Goebel was not present at the seminar, he actually has the program that was shared that weekend.
Part 2
Beckoning Hands of Good and Evil Dream
I awoke at about 3:50 AM (7.25.2023) from this dream.
The dream started with me, but it was a thirtyish and fit looking me (no obesity, mobility issues or twisted spine) walking into a tent in a clearing in the wilderness. After stepping through the tent my perspective changed and I was looking through my eyes rather than watching myself in the dream.
While the tent was probably a ten-by-ten brownish green oval, when I stepped inside it was a white, glowing tent that was about thirty by fifty. Even though everything was bright and glowing white, some of the items had a warm rosy nimbus and when you stepped near them the scent was that of a delightfully scented rose garden in summer.
When I walked around the inside of the tent, I couldn’t see anyone, but it looked like a ready room for noble knights. I continued to walk around exploring the area. There was a zone with a basin of water and cloths and wardrobes with elegant clothing. Another area contained racks with swords and maces and lances, armor, and shields. Although there was no food, one section contained a long table with plates, silver, mugs, unlit candelabras, and napkins. The table was European with sturdy armed and cushioned chairs not middle eastern – low with lounge cushions.
Briefly, I saw an angel, passing through conversing with another one – no wings but six or seven feet tall, and surrounded with a white glowing nimbus. They waved and smiled at me, then disappeared as suddenly as they had appeared. Their footfalls and echoes lingered briefly after they had vanished – that’s when I noticed the floors were marble with slight swirls of gold and flecks of jewels that glinted in various shades of reds, greens, blues, yellows, and oranges,
Just then the thought struck me, ‘I know I am supposed to write this down when I wake up. I am trying to repeat all this to myself, over and over, but there is just too much information. How am I going to remember it?’
I saw an electronic Notebook appear on a small decorative white wooden storage cabinet. The computer, a Notebook sized unit without a lid, hummed after it had appeared, as if powered by its own form of non-electrical energy. An alpha-numeric keypad appeared at the bottom of the screen and a blinking cursor at the top of the screen. I picked it up and began typing this information that I am now recording. (After waking up I found that the actual information I recorded on my office computer was much less than I had typed onto the Notebook computer in the dream.)
After writing for several minutes, and walking again around the room, I saw a display floating in the air, at eye level, that I had not seen before. Two large and beautiful hands, ivory in color and surrounded with a similar white nimbus like the one that had outlined the angels beckoned, as if urging me to step between them. After a brief hesitation I decided to take the offer.
When I stepped through, I appeared in another building that wasn’t a tent. The sides and ceiling were thickly misty so I couldn’t see the style of architecture. The floors were not the same white marble as the Knight’s Tent but more like the transparent glass of the screen of the Notebook computer. What I saw were exhibits placed on tables that disappeared into the distance, circling me, in a long oval, that showed objects from the Old and New Testament. Some were hand-crafted and others were three-dimensional holograms of scenes from scripture or objects like Aaron’s rod, Moses’ staff, Adam and Eve in the garden, Jesus walking with his disciples, the stoning of Steven and Philip with the eunuch. And many more too numerous to mention. Some of these displays were life size and others were miniatures.
Not too far ahead of me, in the museum, was a glowing grid of bright white lines. I knew, and wrote it down in my digital notes, that if I stepped onto it, I would instantly appear, back in the real world outside, beside the small tent that I had originally entered from the clearing in the wilderness. I also recorded that it would take longer, but that I could retrace my steps back through the Knight’s Tent and use that exit portal.
Startled, I heard a woman’s voice mumbling and exclaiming behind me. Looking back where I had stepped through from the Knight’s Tent, there was a dark blue oval archway. I could dimly see through the archway, as if I were looking through dark water, and strangely, it appeared to be a confused Shirley Knorn! (Shirley has worked for me for six years or so sending out David Dyer’s discipleship materials. While she is no longer angry with God, to the extent that she was when I first met her, and now is more comfortable around Christians, she has not committed to serving Jesus. That said, in many ways, from the way she dresses, won’t steal, drink alcohol, do drugs or smoke, and intends on being a virgin her entire life, and never have a romantic relationship, she walks better than many Christians I know. Even though she says that God doesn’t exist, if she is upset with him, she will tell him,”the J… A… in the Sky” about it in no uncertain terms!)
Back to the dream.
At first, I just leaned through the archway, to see if it was really Shirley, and it looked like I was pushing aside a “dimensional” curtain. Except that the white lines were dimmer, the dimensional curtain overlay looked similar to the illustration above. Not exact, but similar. I literally saw a white grid pattern, superimposed over the world that I was seeing, and moved it aside with my hand, to look through the portal. Then, after peeking beyond the veil, I decided to just step through into the Knight’s Tent.
Shirley exclaimed, “I don’t know where I am, or how I got here! I can see the signs of Good and Evil, and I am certainly not going to step through the one that is evil!” And she never said it, but it seemed as if, observing her body language and assessing her voice, she was more hesitant than I had been to step through the Symbol of Good beckoning hands. That is, she definitely was afraid of the scary fiery clawed hands, but while not afraid of the other display, she was not eager to step through the Good Symbol Hands Portal, either.
Having stepped through I asked her, “What are you looking at, Shirley? All I see are two glowing hands.”
Shirley said, “One! I see those, too. But it is the other set of hands I am talking about! They are scary looking with long claws and surrounded by dancing yellow and orange fire! It is just to the other side of the white glowing hands display.”
“What?” I exclaimed. “I don’t see anything but the white hands! I guess I can see the good symbol, but not the evil symbol.”
