I WITNESSED TO AN ODINIST

AT THE EAU CLAIRE, HASTINGS WAY, MCDONALD’S

I was able to witness to an Odinist while in my McDonald’s Café “office.”  His name is Kirk.  Kirk is 36 years old, rides the rails and has been drifting for over 15 years.

He was sitting near me and saw my book Final Piece of the Puzzle at the table.  He asked about the books.  He went outside for a while, then came back to ask me questions.  I was quite surprised as earlier I had told him that Odin (Norse mythos) was a god with a small G that was called by other names in different locales and should have served the Supreme Ruler Jehovah, the father of our Lord Jesus Christ, but who with many others had rebelled.  I also told him that he had a choice of whom he would serve, a god with a small g who rebelled or the one I served, Jesus Christ, Son of God Most High.

 

Even though I had been rather blunt considering my typically diplomatic personality, Kirk had returned to ask questions.  I know the Lord arranged for us to meet, and God’s Hand is not too short to save.  I had also asked him about the Nordic Runes written just below his knuckles. I believe he said that it meant that he belonged to Odin.

 

Kirk and his companions, Meghan, Dan and Lola plan on jumping back on the outbound train out of Eau Claire this evening.  Please pray for them.

Yesterday, I happened to see a reference in the Viking Christian’s post that reminded me of this event. I knew I had written this to share with a Christian group back in 2013.    I found a copy of it on a storage device and will post it on my blog and share it on Facebook.
