On November 23rd, 2016, at about 5:45 A.M., I awoke singing a song. I only remembered a few scattered lyrics from the dream song. I tried to wake up and begin writing it down, but the computers weren’t mine, I couldn’t find a word processing program. Next I grabbed a pen and couldn’t even write on the white legal pad because it was wet. Then I figured out that I was still sleeping.
When I did wake up for real, a few minutes later, I got up and came downstairs to my computer. All I remembered was this strong sense of God’s love and a few lyrical sections. “Another day has come. Another dawn has arrived.” I also remembered “brand-new day” and “… help me… share that love and walk in Your ways.” I also had the feeling that the song had lots of repetition and rhyme.
For the rest of the song I just crafted words until the lyrics started to come together. Unlike some of my earlier dreams, where I would hear the whole song, it seems that many of my later dream songs would be given to me in an incomplete fashion and later, while under anointing, I would complete the song.
