Today is October 15th, 2017. A cheery Grasa to you all in Jesus Name! Welcome to another episode of the Greetings and Salutations Radio Show. Today’s episode is entitled, “Spiritual Foot Washing.”
Later I will list several verses about foot washing. There may be more. Today’s topic is a bit broader than that. We are going to have my friend and co host in Jesus, Ken Welker, from TheSeed.Org training present his teaching on Spiritual Foot washing.
While general foot washing has to do with hospitality and humility, what we are talking about in this lesson has a much larger scope. Spiritual Foot washing has to do with preparing yourself on a daily basis to walk your walk alone and with other brothers and sisters so that you will be protected, nourished and prepared for daily service in the Kingdom of Jesus Christ. We need to read the word daily, pray, worship Jesus, ask for forgiveness and wisdom and allow the Holy Spirit to transform us and prepare us for battle and service.
More than ever this is essential. I was just ministering to a friend. I am not sure if she is a targeted individual, but she lives in a city that has a strong level of dark warfare; it has masonic, satanic, and nature witch strongholds. She has a history of being tormented by evil spirits. I encouraged her to pray, use Jesus Name, and read scripture and find anointed music to sing with or listen throughout a 24 period. And to find other brothers and sisters to pray with her as well. What I have found is that many Christians do not practice this and often only open their Bibles or pray if they happen to attend a meeting once per week. This is not enough, especially with the dark days that we are coming into. This is not enough, if you want to have a relationship with Jesus Christ, rather than just a casual acquaintance.
These are specific items that are part of our daily “spiritual foot washing.” Not only has the general level of dark spiritual warfare increased lately, but the boldness of the devilish attacks has intensified as well. More than ever we need daily spiritual foot washing for cleansing so that our prayers would not be hindered. We also need daily spiritual foot washing so that we would not hinder our general protection and protection from demonical warfare will not be compromised.
