JESUS WARRIOR DREAM SONG WITH BACK STORY AND TEACHING INFO

I dreamed a song in July of 2026, around the third week of the month. The song sounded similar to “Gangsta’s Paradise.”

This is the first time I have received a “Songs in the Night from Jesus” dream song that, by genre, is Christian Rap.

To be honest, I have always disdained Christian Rap music.

For the last forty years, once or twice per year, I have received songs from Jesus in dreams.

Since I cannot play a musical instrument, I sing them a’ Capella. My new dream song uses the instrumental version of Coolio’s song as a background.

The song started out with Psalm 144:1 in the ESV, “Blessed be the LORD, my rock who trains my hands for war, and my fingers for battle.”

However, there were a few King James style words in the song as well. I could remember the first stanza and ‘Yeah, though I walk through the valley of death…’”

The dream contained three key points:

1) Being sensitive to the Lord’s direction during battle and not depending only on martial training.

-My feeling, during the dream, and while pondering after I awoke, was that a Jesus Warrior must do both!

-One or the other, is insufficient for a Jesus Warrior!

2) Be humble! Being proud will not work well for a Jesus Warrior.

3) If we are sent into spiritual battle by Jesus, our faith in Him, will protect us.

-Either by His will only, or by his use of His invisible angelic protectors, Jesus will give us complete victory. 

-Or, we may be required to undergo temporary hardship, but we at least will survive against wicked people, evil spirits, minor and major fallen angels and evil cryptids.

-We will not die, and then we will live on, to fight and serve another day.

 

We must remember, Jesus has mercy, but how many of us feel we are walking in faith and are really walking in blind audacity? Whether we will admit it or continue to walk in denial, has an impact.

If we do not confess, our prayers, protection and provision may suffer.

How many of us, on any given day, do not listen for Jesus to blow the battle horn, then, instead, go into major spiritual battle, under our own initiative and authority?As children in the Kingdom, we may be less responsible for this error, but if we are leaders in the Kingdom, we are more responsible for our actions.

How many of us walk outside of Jesus’ protection, then rail against wicked people or dark entities?

Admittedly, in the verse readings, only the dark entities are mentioned, but my question is still valid.

How many times do we try to do the work of the Kingdom with our flesh and intellect, rather than under the direction and empowering of Jesus’ Spirit?

Keep in mind, that just as Jesus had Pharisees when He walked the earth, modern versions fill street corners, cathedrals and living rooms today in America and around the world (see Jeremiah 5:27-29 and consider the modern parallel).

They may be Jew or Gentile, but rather than truly and humbly following the Spirit of Jesus, rely on a strong will, fleshly vigor and memorizing verses, chapters and whole books of the Bible.

And why? To control brothers and sisters around them, engage in spiritual battle or do the work of the Kingdom – their way!

And God’s word will not return void, but the more we strengthen the hard religious human spirit, the less we depend on walking under Jesus’ anointing and empowering. We will walk instead in religious fervor, using flesh and intellect, as a substitute to simply walking as a humble follower of Christ Jesus!

Some such leaders, be they pastors, teachers, evangelists, or administrators, etc., if they are not careful, may be found beating their fellow servants during life.

The worst case scenario, of course, is if they appear before the Lord, after they pass away, and he says, “Get away from me, you workers of iniquity! I never knew you!”

Whether we are a spiritual Jesus Warrior (five-fold ministry) or an actual Christian Military man or woman, active or in-active, we need to be ever mindful of the previous spiritual principles.

If we are merely children of the Kingdom of Jesus Christ, we can still receive instruction, while pondering these warnings.

In the dream, I was observing the world through the eyes of a modern American Christian, who was also a trained soldier.

From time to time, the perspective would switch, in my dream, and I would see the Jesus Warrior, rather than viewing the dream environment through his eyes.

The dream warrior was walking through a small seaside city on the east or west coast of America. While he was walking, the Lord was speaking to him.

Jesus said, “If you trust in Me to protect you, and I have called you to walk through these dangerous areas, at any given time, My angels will protect you, and I will shield and empower you.

“Sometimes I will give you total victory; at other times you may suffer, but you will not die or be captured, except possibly for a short time.

“Whether you are being assailed by wicked humans, devils, evil spirits or beast-men, it doesn’t matter.

“What matters is that you maintain a close relationship with me, attack only at My command, and enter these areas only when I tell you.

“You must remain humble and pure of heart in My service.”

A street gang war was happening as the Jesus Warrior walked the city street. Right after Jesus finished speaking, I heard instrumental music similar to Coolio’s “Gangsta Paradise.”

As he sang the song, over and over, the Jesus Warrior, continued to walk. If he was battling, I just heard the music. Most of the time enemies ignored him or fled.

Once or twice, using MMA style moves, he easily defended himself against the street gang thugs.

He rebuked devils or evil spirits and they fled.

The Dream Warrior kept walking and entered a forest outside of the city where screaming Sasquatch and howling Dog Men raged at him. The dream ended as he appeared before the Sasquatch and Dog Men. I did not see what happened after that.

I would like to say that, as is customary, I awoke and worked on the song, but I did not. I had spent time in prayer, about the issue. I read scripture and prayed as I do every morning. However, I forgot about the dream song, following morning devotions.

Probably three or four days went by, and occasionally, I would think about the song, and mentally try to remember the verses, but didn’t actually open up the word processing program, on my computer, and work on it.                                                             

During morning prayer and scripture reading, a few days later, I received what Christian teacher and podcaster, Steve Quayle, calls a “burst transmission.”

I didn’t hear it in English but I knew exactly what the Lord was saying. “Why haven’t you worked on (read that as: written and recorded) the new dream song I recently gave you?”
